thank goodness for spring break.

wow guys....haha i promise i didn't fall off the face of the earth. i always think about updating and then i get lazy instead. well, school has been school, and work has been work. lately i have no hours and no hours = no money for the academy = stress. i'll work it out somehow.

lately i've just been going through some rough patches in life...so sorry if i have bitten anyone's head off...i'm just high strung lately. it'll subside....we hope.

this week, the aspen house crew has been getting ready for our barbeque tonight.  sunday night-holly, roberto and myself went and made a few trips to pick up a patio set, monday-chrisanne, sam, and i picked up a barbeque, tuesday-i swept off and raked up the backyard to tidy it up some, thursday-klay came over to prepare the meat (since we needed so many patties!!) and we went grocery shopping and picked up all the food we'll need, and then holly, me, and samantha picked up a fire pit and a bigger tv.   today has just been some tidying up and dusting off. i had lunch with samantha at bethany--it's so fun to see everyone there. i'm really excited for everyone to come over tonight...there will be a lot of people i haven't seen for a long time. good times all around, i hope. well, i think i'm going to catch a quick nap before i go back to work to get stuff done. haha...

not much has been happening lately....this morning the aspen house crew got up early and got ready to go out to mexico-arizona...the ghetto of phoenix on the west side.  we went to the revlon store at the revlon plant to buy makeup at wholesale prices. it was good times. the car ride was filled with harmony to the numa numa song, people laughing at us dancing to the numa numa song, and some 14 year old looking skater punk boys trying to get our attention, then when they did, i had a finger ready for them. they didn't like it much. hahaha....then i slept most of the rest of the day, then jon and holly and i went out to scottsdale fashion square...where we ran into more 13 year old skater boys who said "hey! this guy is a pimp" (one of the guys in the group) i said "coooool" and walked away and then jon goes "oh my gosh, you guys are like 12" and they are like uh uh, no we're not, as we all walked away. so, now i have to ask, what is it with little teenaged skater boys??  last sunday, they were standing and pretending they were in the guard at academy rehearsal, then on the way to where the brass is, a few of them yelled "you girls make our penises big!!" at us....it was so tempting to sass them back and say "yeah, i know" but, that doesn't represent the academy well. hahaha. teenaged skater boys should be locked in closets.

anyways...random xanga, i know. just keeping you all updated!! haha, academy tomorrow, time for bed. peace out.

so, the new year has already had more ups than last year at this time did. i'm having a good time in my new house....holly, sam, and chrisanne are awesome. tonight we went out for el salvadorian food. for some reason, we all felt like getting dressed...and not scrubbing it at all, which is odd for me HA. it was like classic girls getting ready though, me and holly in one bathroom, sam and chrisanne in theirs, running around like "should i wear this", "what earrings will match", "holly, will you help me with my hair?" and of course "can i borrow this??"  then when we were finally ready, we all piled into holly's bug and pumped out britney spears. HAHA i know, we're awesome. we met up with kyle and roberto, and eventually gabby and sharli met up with us. it was fun talking espanol and trying new food. then there was movies, and some bahama bucks and wendy's runs that brought the night to an end. good times were had.

the academy season starts sunday. i am so excited and nervous at the same time.  i love my old friends, and the new ones i have made already. i'm looking forward to making even more new ones, and losing weight, but i worry that i won't keep up. but i'm going to look at this optimistically and assume that everything will go smoothly like the last season minus the torn ligament in the ankle.

i also got a job at hr block.  i worked there in 04. hooray.
